This is a slide/trunk show of my more recent work in which I use traditional techniques in a non traditional format. I share not only the pieces but explain where the ideas came from, how the design evolved and how the work generally progressed. Approximately 1 hour.
"Not just a Quilting Stitch" For me, quilting is part of the whole design and in this lecture I share how the very act of quilting has gained more and more importance in my work, how it has evolved into the embellished trapunto and Marseille embroidery techniques I use today.
