"Fragment II"

Mixed media--hand-dyed and hand-made silk paper, silk, beads, dichroic glass.

This piece was made as an experiment to see what I could do with silk paper, technique that fascinates me because of its delicacy and how I could attach larger elements, such as a piece of glass, to fabric with sculptural peyote.
