"The Dream"

Commercial and hand-dyed cotton fabrics, silk organza, batiked lamé, cotton batting, feather, hand-made paper, wooden hanger and dowels.

The quilt was conceived after a dream, which left me with the powerful feeling that it contained an important message. I wrote the dream down in the leaf-shaped booklet which hangs at the side of the piece. I thought that giving the dream a physical presence would help me uncover its hidden meaning but it still eludes me!
